How display different videos for your customers depending on your website’s language

With PlayShorts, you can display different videos for your customers depending on your website’s language.

To do so, please refer to the dedicated article on creating a Product Page project. It will guide you step by step through the initial setup process.

[Shopify] Integrate videos on your product pages

How to integrate stories on your Shopify?

Manage Languages

In the Videos section of your project, you can configure multiple languages to adapt your content to different markets.

Add a New Language

  • Click on the Languages tab

  • Click on Add Language

  • Select the language of your choice

  • Create your video set as you usually do

Customize Content by Language

Once languages are configured:

  • You will have access to each language directly within your project

  • You can customize the video display for each language

  • You can edit the title and associated content

  • The display will automatically adapt based on your visitors’ country or language

This allows you to provide a personalized and consistent experience internationally.

What is the Default Language?

The default language is the language that will be displayed across all versions of your site, as long as no specific language has been added.

What happens if you add a specific language?

If you add a language (for example, English or French):

  • Videos configured in that language will be shown to the relevant visitors

  • They will replace the videos set in the default language for that version of the site

In summary

  • Default language = used everywhere by default

  • Specific language added = takes precedence for visitors of that language

This setup allows you to have a common baseline while customizing the experience for each market.
